That’s a wrap! The GBA Jam 2021 is officially over. On behalf of the jury and the organisation team we are extremely impressed with the contestants work. We didn’t expect this number of quality entries!

Thanks to everyone who helped organising and hosting the jam, to judges, donors, GBA enthusiasts who helped on the Discord channels and finally to the contestants, they did an incredible job!

Another positive note is that most of the submissions were released under permissive licenses, opening up their source code to everyone to study and learn, exactly as we hoped.

Winning contestants will be contacted through email (address set on itch.io) in the next few days.

Results

Awarded entries are in bold, open-source bonus is denoted by ﹢.

Ties are left as-is, except for “Originality” where a tie-break was required for the Most Original prize (voted 6:2 to Symbol★Merged).
